    From where was he the king? He was the king of Castile.
    3) Why was he famous? Because he want to dominate the nobles and be obeyed. The nobility and the clergy were against, so they supported a his brother Henry of Trastámara.

    5) Who killed him? His half brother Henry II.
    6) Who was the new king? The new king was Ferdinand II.

    His father was Peter I of Castile
    2) What was his nickname? From where was he the king?
    His nickname was "Pedro el Cruel" or “el Justiciero”. He was king of Castile and Leon from 1350 until 1369.
    3) Why was he famous?
    Pedro I the Cruel was famous because he wanted to dominate the nobles and be obeyed. This was supported by the urban bourgeoisie, but the nobility and the Church were opposed to the king as king and supported his bastard brother Henry of Trastamara. After many years of civil war, won the nobles, and Henry II became the new king. With this king, began the dinasty Trastamara.
    4) When and where did he die?
    He died the 23 of March of 1369 in Montiel (Castile).
    5) Who killed him?
    On the way he found his brother Henry, who was accompanied by Beltran Duguesclin and White Companies, and fought a pitched battle near the castle of Montiel, called Star. His troops were defeated.
    After the battle, on 14 of March, withdrew into the fortress and besieged it for his brother, he made a deal through his faithful knight Sanabria Rodríguez Men with Duguesclin to achieve flight. The French tricked him and took him to a store where they met face to face Peter and Henry. They ran against each other and embraced fell to the ground, leaving over Peter, but Duguesclin, saying, according to legend, the famous words "neither remove nor put king, but help my lord.” He took the foot to Pedro I and put under, which used his brother Henry to stab him.

    3.He wanted dominated to the nobles, the nobility and the church oppsed the king and supported his brother as king Enrique de Trastámara. After many years of war Enrique II proclamed the king.

    I think we are talking about Peter I. The image refers to "Sanchito o the Infante Sancho of Castile and Sandoval". He was Peter's son with Isabella Sandoval. She was a servant of the king but she became one of his lovers.

    I think that he was famous because he was very bad and cruel, he killed or ordered the murders of many people for he get new territories.
