OUR LITTLE TRIBUTE TO MANDELA

For our Citizenship class today we have organised a little tribute to Mandela, just watching some videos with songs dedicated to him or knowing about Apartheid and Mandela's life.

First of all, we have played hangman with the word "APARTHEID" and then we have explained what apartheid was.

Then, we have listened to "Ordinary love" by U2.



Then we have listened to President Zuma announcing Mandela's death

 

Then we have learned something about "Apartheid" in 90 seconds:

 The way South Africans celebrate death is really different from the way we do it in Spain, you can watch it.
